Anthony Daniels And Oscaar Isaac Wrap On Star Wars VII

C-3PO star Anthony Daniels has finished shooting Star Wars 7… and so has newcomer, Oscar Isaac.

30th September 2014 by Ryan Leston

C-3PO actor wasn't fussed on his Star Wars prequel CGI look.

After returning to Star Wars for the upcoming sequels, it looks as though Anthony Daniels has finished shooting his scenes… along with newcomer, Oscar Isaac.

It’s been an interesting few months as Star Wars VII started filming… and with visits to the Forest of Dean as well as the studio in Pinewood, the cast of the upcoming Star Wars sequel have seen their fair share of the UK. But while there’s apparently a good chunk of filming left to do, there are some have may have finished already…

Star Wars VII Chrome Trooper Revealed?

According to Anthony Daniels (via his official twitter account), it looks as though C-3PO has been powered down… at least for the time being.

In today’s golden hour, on a back lot in SE England, it was a wrap for me. Terminal, I hope, only in relation to Episode VII.Time will tell.

Although this heartfelt tweet has caused some to question Anthony Daniels’ health, I can’t help hoping that this is merely a teary goodbye to C-3PO as he finishes his final scenes. But does this mean that Threepio won’t be back in Star Wars VIII or is it just an actor sad to see the back of his character until the next movie?

For now, we’ll have to wait and see… but Daniels isn’t the only one who’s finished filming. According to HitFix, 35-year-old Oscar Isaac has also finished his scenes.

“Oscar Isaac’s last day shooting Star Wars: Episode VII is this Friday, Sept. 26,” they reveal. “The cast has another few weeks of filming, but Isaac is taking a well-deserved four day vacation before moving on to his next project, David Simon’s HBO mini-series Show Me A Hero.”

Star Wars VII’s Woodland Battle Revealed (EXCLUSIVE)

It’s currently unclear whether any of our other Star Wars VII stars have finished shooting their scenes as well… but with Daisy Ridley and John Boyega’s recent twitter disappearance, I can’t help thinking there’s still some way to go for these young stars.

And with Harrison Ford’s highly-publicised leg injury, does this mean he’ll be hanging on until the bitter end? For now, we’ll have to wait and see. But with reportedly a few more weeks to go, there’s still plenty of action and adventure left in the galaxy far, far away.

What do you think of Anthony Daniels’ tweet? Has anyone else finished their scenes? Let us know what you think in the comments below…
