A new Avengers: Age of Ultron TV Spot has appeared… and it gives us even more new footage from the upcoming sequel.
If you’ve been following Avengers: Age of Ultron, you’ve no doubt seen the same footage time and time again… but even Ultron himself can drone on a bit. Thankfully, an impressive new Age of Ultron trailer has been released.
And it contains almost all new footage.
The 60-second Marvel TV spot is just the latest Age of Ultron trailer to appear online… but this time we’re treated to some interesting moments between our plucky heroes. As well as our first glimpse at Aaron Taylor-Johnson’s rather dodgy Russian accent.
That’s right – Quicksilver has finally uttered some dialogue.
In fact, there’s plenty of really good stuff packed into this short trailer. There’s a ton of new action scenes – including Captain America using a motorcycle as a projectile weapon and the mighty Thor using Cap’s shield in a move that makes Marty McFly’s skateboard flips look truly amateur.
Although earlier trailers have really played up the existential issues in Age of Ultron, this time we get a real action-fest… and it looks as though there’s plenty of that packed into the movie.
And there’s even some trademark Iron Man wit.
“All set up, boss,” says former S.H.I.E.L.D. operative Maria Hill to Tony Stark.
“Actually he’s the boss,” Stark replies, as he points towards Cap. “I just pay for everything, and design everything, make everyone look cooler.”
Of course, we’re then treated to a glimpse of some of the Avengers’ high-tech weaponry… and that includes the Hulkbuster armor, Hawkeye’s arrows, and the Black Widow’s awesome new motorbike.
Obviously, it’s not long before Ultron shows up… and with an army of drones all baying for the Avengers’ blood, it seems there’s plenty of opportunity to try out those new gadgets. But will they really do them any good?
It looks as though the Avengers have their work cut out for them. But surely they’ll save the world… right?
Avengers: Age of Ultron heads to cinemas on 23 April 2015.
