This year’s BAFTA Film Award nominees are in.
And it’s a far more eclectic mix that this year’s Golden Globes.
Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri has managed to impress BAFTA with a whopping nine nominations, including Best Film, Outstanding British Film, Best Actress, and two nominations for Best Supporting Actor.
Most notably, Guillermo Del Toro’s latest, The Shape of Water, has picked up twelve nominations overall – a vast improvement over the Golden Globes. And hit horror Get Out has finally landed Danial Kaluuya a nomination for Best Actor… a film which has been overlooked by American awards so far.
