Better Call Saul has been given an official air date… and it’ll kick off in the USA in February with a special two-night event.
Heading to AMC on 8 February, this special event will finally unveil Saul Goodman’s spin-off, starring Bob Odenkirk as he reprises the titular role. And the following night will see the not-so-squeaky-clean lawyer return for the second episode.
Of course, the series will continue on a weekly basis, broadcast on Mondays at 10PM.
Created by Breaking Bad creator Vince Gilligan, the hour-long show will follow the exploits of none other than James McGill – otherwise known on the show as Saul Goodman. Acting as a prequel of sorts, we see Saul’s not-so-legitimate business in a time before he teamed up with Walter White… and I for one can’t wait to find out what he was up to.
The upcoming series stars Bob Odenkirk as well as Jonathon Banks, Michael McKean, Patrick Fabian, Rhea Seehorn, and Michael Mando.
Of course, back in June, AMC announced that the 10-episode run would air in February, a good three months later than originally planned… but with a full season ordered and ready to go, we finally get a good glimpse at Better Call Saul in the awesome new trailer.
Unfortunately, we’re yet to get an official release date here in the UK… so for now, we’ll have to wait a little longer than our pals in the USA. But what will Saul Goodman get up to in his debut series? We’ll have to wait and see… but I’m guessing it’s nothing too reputable.
