Carrie-Ann Moss Joins AKA Jessica Jones

The Matrix star heads to Marvel’s Jessica Jones.

3rd February 2015 by Ryan Leston

Marvel's Jessica Jones

A.K.A. Jessica Jones has landed the one and only Carrie-Ann Moss. But what role will she play in the upcoming super-powered series?

Best known as Trinity in The Matrix trilogy, Carrie-Ann Moss has been known to pull out a few show-stopping moves that border on super-powered. And now she might just get to put those moves to the test in the upcoming Marvel series A.K.A. Jessica Jones.

But has she landed a super-powered role?

Marvel’s Jessica Jones Adds David Tennant

According to The Wrap, Carrie-Ann Moss has joined A.K.A. Jessica Jones… and they even have the inside scoop on who she’ll play.

“Carrie-Anne Moss has signed on for Marvel’s Jessica Jones on Netflix,” they revealed. “Moss plays the no-nonsense Harper, a person in a position of authority who could prove a powerful ally to Jessica — if the titular character doesn’t completely alienate her first, that is.”

Unfortunately, a quick look through the Marvel archives provides no further details on who Harper might be… so it looks as though this is an entirely new character, specifically made for the TV series.

But will she be a super-powered friend, or a government agent who can help?

At this stage, we’re not really sure… and due to the nature of the all-new character, it seems anything is possible. But Jessica Jones has no shortage of super-powered allies.

We’ve already seen Mike Colter confirmed as the rather awesome Luke Cage…. And recently saw Rachael Taylor announced as Trish Walker – aka Hellcat.

Krysten Ritter Cast As Marvel’s Jessica Jones

Of course, the show focusses on Jessica Jones – a Marvel superhero whose career was tragically cut short. Rebuilding her personal life as a detective who takes on super-powered cases, it’s not long before she’s dragged back into her old life.

And with plenty of superheroes on her side, it looks as though she’s in for quite the adventure.

A.K.A. Jessica Jones stars Krysten Ritter as the titular heroine… and we can’t wait to see it head to Netflix.

Do you think Carrie-Ann Moss will play a super-powered character? Will we see any other heroes in A.K.A. Jessica Jones? Let us know what you think in the comments below…
