Attack on Titan: Part 2

Several hundred years ago, humans were nearly exterminated by giants. Giants are typically several stories tall, seem to have no intelligence, devour human beings and, worst of all, seem to do it for the pleasure. Attack on Titan follows teenage boy Eren and his foster sister Mikasa as they witness the city walls being destroyed by a super giant that appears out of thin air. As the smaller giants flood the city, the two kids watch in horror as their mother is eaten alive. Eren vows that he will murder every single giant and take revenge for all of mankind.

Dragonball Z: Battle of the Gods

Stunning animation and epic new villains highlight the first new Dragon Ball Z feature film in seventeen years! Beerus, the God of Destruction, travels to Earth in search of a good fight. Only Goku, humanity’s greatest hero, can ascend to the level of a Super Saiyan God and stop Beerus’ rampage! Includes both the 85 minute Theatrical Cut and the 105 minute Director’s Cut. Both versions include the English and Japanese dubs and English subtitles.

The Rendlesham UFO Incident

Documentary style sci-fi horror. When a couple decide to go hunting for ancient Saxon gold in Rendelsham Forest, Suffolk, they are joined by their extraterrestrial-obsessed friend Jake, who wants to search the rumoured site of alien sightings and capture the entire experience on film. Soon, they begin to witness unusual activity in the skies directly above and all their equipment starts to malfunction. Then, as they venture deeper into the wooded area, the group stumble upon an old abandoned army base that they hope will unlock the secrets behind the mysterious events…

Honeymoon

Young newlyweds Paul and Bea travel to remote lake country for their honeymoon where the promise of private romance awaits them. Shortly after arriving, Paul finds Bea wandering and disoriented in the middle of the night. As she becomes more distant and her behaviour increasingly peculiar, Paul begins to suspect something more sinister than sleepwalking took place in the woods.

And if those aren’t your thing, here’s Sunday’s Blu-ray and DVD bundle:

Ghost in the Shell: Arise

In the year 2027, a year following the end of the non-nuclear World War IV, a bomb has gone off in Newport City, killing a major arms dealer who may have ties with the mysterious 501 Organization. Public Security official Daisuke Aramaki hires full-body cyber prosthesis user and hacker extraordinaire, Motoko Kusanagi, to investigate. Freed of her responsibilities with the 501 Organization, Motoko Kusanagi must now learn how to take orders from Aramaki.

Bayonetta: Bloody Fate (Collector’s Edition Steel Book)

Bloody Fate follows the story of the witch Bayonetta, as she defeats the blood-thirsty Angels and tries to remember her past from before the time she awoke, 20 years ago. Alongside her is a mysterious little girl who keeps calling her “Mummy”, a journalist that holds a personal grudge against Bayonetta and a unknown white-haired woman who seems to know more than she is willing to reveal about Bayonetta’s time before her sleep.

Ragnarok: The Viking Apocolypse

Sigurd is an archaeologist who, for years, has been obsessed with the Oseberg Viking ship. He believes that a runic inscription on the ship, which translates to “man knows little”, holds the key to understanding the Norse myth of Ragnarok: the day when heaven and earth are destroyed. When his friend Allan finds similar inscriptions on a stone from the north of Norway, Sigurd, along with his kids, begins an expedition to uncover the secret of the day of doom. Little do they know, a discovery far beyond their imaginations awaits!

Dead Snow 2

Having crashed his car after fleeing the ski lodge where his friends were all brutally murdered by a battalion of Nazi zombies, Martin wakes up in hospital attempting to convince the police that he is not the one who killed them. Little do they know, the undead fascists are very much still living and on their way down the mountain to carry out their final orders of wiping out a nearby town and everyone in it. With time running out it’s up to Martin and his new American allies to save the town from zombie-annihilation and defeat them once and for all.
