Deadshot and Harley Quinn are a lot closer than we thought as the pair are caught in a clinch on the set of Suicide Squad.
While filming continues on the upcoming Suicide Squad movie, it seems that the cast just can’t keep themselves out of the limelight. Shooting on location in Toronto, Canada, it seems that things are getting a bit steamy between Deadshot (played by Will Smith) and Harley Quinn (played by Margot Robbie).
Thanks to the folks at Just Jared, we have another, closer look at the villainous DC duo on the set of Suicide Squad. And as Deadshot carries her in his arms, I can’t help thinking that the Joker won’t be too pleased…
Clearly, there’s something going on here – that look between them says it all. But will it be more than a mere flirtation? Or is Harley Quinn using her feminine wilds to wrap Deadshot around her little finger?
For now, we’ll have to wait and see.
But these candid images don’t just show off Deadshot and Harley Quinn. We also get another look at Jay Hernandez as El Diablo. And while that facial tattoo looks rather intimidating, it’s Jai Courtney’s Captain Boomerang which really piques my interest.
And the rest of the gang aren’t far behind.
But does this mean we can expect a certain tension between Deadshot and The Joker?
It seems that Jared Leto is notably absent from these scenes… and with the actor reportedly taking a break in Paris, it’s rather telling that while the Joker is away, Harley clings onto the supposed leader of the group – Deadshot.
Will this eventually cause some conflict? For now, we’ll have to wait and see. But the Joker is unlikely to be happy about it…
Suicide Squad heads to cinemas on 5 August 2016.
