Batman V Superman is currently still filming on location in Detroit… and this time, it’s Henry Cavill’s Superman who’s in the limelight.
It’s no secret that Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice is still filming across the pond in Detroit, Michigan. After all, we’ve seen plenty of set reports and even snatched video footage of the all-new Batmobile, as well as snaps of Lex Luthor’s HQ. Well, now it’s Superman’s turn as the Man of Steel steps out onto the street.
Shazam Won’t Tie Into The Justice League?
The folks over at Just Jared managed to get some awesome behind-the-scenes images of Henry Cavill, shooting scenes for the upcoming Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice.
Of course, this isn’t the first time we’ve seen Cavill in costume as DC‘s Superman. After all, he’s appeared in his own solo film Man of Steel fully suited and booted. But what about his new hair? It’s certainly reminiscent of the slicked-back look from the comic books…
Although it doesn’t reveal much, these new pics do give us a glimpse of Henry Cavill’s Batman V Superman look… and more importantly, a brief look at some of the upcoming action.
Obviously, there’s not much to go on… and these images simply show Henry Cavill in his Superman alter ego, flying (or hovering) above the ground and his new squeeze, Lois Lane (played by Amy Adams).
Wonder Woman Gets A Female Director?
Caught in a tender embrace, it looks as though we can expect a bit more development in the romantic Superman/Lois sub-plot. Or perhaps it’s already been fully realised by this point. Either way, it looks as though everyone’s favourite damsel in distress is rather emotional at this stage… but why that is remains to be seen.
At this point, it’s pretty fruitless to speculate about what these scenes mean. But let’s face it – Henry Cavill looks just as impressive as always in the Superman costume. Let’s just hope he gets some scenes with Batman sometime soon.
