If you thought you knew everything there is to know about the Wachowski’s new movie Jupiter Ascending it seems you’re probably mistaken. At least, if this awesome new trailer is anything to go by.

Kingsman: The Secret Service Gets A New Trailer

Created by Andy and Lana Wachowski – the minds behind the Matrix trilogy – it’s another venture into sci-fi territory for the brother/sister double act. And if you ask me, it looks like a rather brilliant return to form.

Starring Mila Kunis as a Janitor who was apparently born under a night sky, it turns out that she’s the unlikely heir to a galaxy-spanning empire… who it seems has inherited the Earth. It may sound like an odd premise but so far, it looks as though the Wachowski’s have pulled it off.

At least, it looks about as weird as you’d expect from a Wachowski film.

Obviously, Channing Tatum stars alongside the Kunis as they attempt to rescue Earth from the clutches of an evil alien dictator – a man who should have inherited the Earth but instead was left with nothing. But of course, he can’t just let things lie…

No Xenomorphs For Prometheus Sequel?

Featuring Eddie Redmayne and Sean Bean, it’s an interesting concept with startlingly brilliant visuals. And this latest trailer really pulls the rug from under us. It’s a high-concept sci-fi film – there’s no doubt about that. But it could just be a huge hit for the Wachowskis.
