Although details remain scarce about the upcoming Jurassic World it looks as though we’ve got our first glimpse at a terrifying new D-Rex thanks to a leaked LEGO set.
It’s no secret that Jurassic World will be returning to Isla Nublar for the upcoming sequel… but it looks as though things have changed since the original Jurassic Park. For one thing, the dinosaurs are likely to be bigger and badder… and that includes the terrifying new D-Rex. But what does it look like? A leaked LEGO set gives us our first look.
These images were first leaked over at the Chinese LEGO website, Toabao… and were found by LEGO fan site, GrooveBricks. And this impressive first look at the Jurassic World sets is a real eye opener – revealing the presumably albino D-Rex in all its glory.
Although little is known about this formidable beast, it looks as though rumours that the Jurassic Park scientists have been tampering with dino DNA are true. And the D-Rex is presumably a result of their genetic experiments.
The creature was reportedly created in an attempt to garner interest for the waning attraction… and I think we can all guess where this is heading. After all, the park owners have underestimated the power of the dinosaurs more than once.
Of course, the traditional T-Rex is famed for its tiny arms… but from this LEGO set, it looks as though the D-Rex has full use of its claws. And that’s likely to be where the scientists of Jurassic World have gone a bit wrong.
Naturally, there’s more than one dinosaur in the park, and these leaked images also show a number of other dinosaurs, including what appears to be some classic-style raptors and the more traditional T-Rex.
But when will we get our first official look at the albino terror on the big screen? For now, we’ll have to wait and see.
