Cosplay just isn’t enough for some, as a Venezuelan man reveals he’s had the end of his nose removed to look like Marvel villain, the Red Skull.
Henry Damon – a 37-year-old husband and father – has had subdermal implants, extensive facial tattoos and even the end of his nose removed in order to look like his idol, the Red Skull. And the details of his procedure are just stomach-churning.
Damon, who now refers to himself as Red Skull, underwent the extreme procedure in order to look like the iconic Captain Marvel villain. And it involved various silicone implants as well the removal of the tip of his nose.
Oh, and he’s also had his eyeballs tattooed black.
The procedure was performed by medical school dropout Emilio Gonzalez, who now specialises in tattooing and body modification surgery.
“Henry aka Red Skull is a physically and intellectually healthy person,” said Gonzalez. “He’s an excellent son, husband and father, who has an extreme taste for body modification. Most of my customers know that body modification is the last step of body art, everyone knows very well what they want and as well as Henry, many of them are waiting for me for many years to make their dreams a reality.”
But it seems he’s not quite finished yet.
“Next will be silicone implants on the cheekbones, chin and cheeks,” he explained. “Then we will tattoo his entire face red and then he will be Red Skull.”
Although I can’t help thinking that, well… he doesn’t look that much like the Red Skull. But perhaps I’ll keep that to myself.
Damon was photographed at the annual Venezuela Tattoo International Expo in Caracas last week, and his images have been doing the rounds on social media… for obvious reasons. But at least he’s happy. Let’s just keep him away from any tesseract-shaped objects, shall we?
