New Suicide Squad Trailer Debuts At MTV Awards

It’s good to be bad… at least, according to the latest Suicide Squad trailer.

Suicide Squad – Blitz Trailer - Official Warner Bros. UK

It’s good to be bad… at least, according to the latest Suicide Squad trailer.

Deadshot may be the leader of the Skwad, but it’s Harley Quinn who steals the show in the latest Suicide Squad trailer.

And there’s even an appearance from Batman…

Star Wars: Rogue One Teaser Trailer Debuts Online

“Don’t forget – we’re the bad guys,” warns Will Smith’s Deadshot… and with Harley Quinn around to keep us in the realms of crazy town, it’s not exactly easy to forget. And then there’s the rather horrific-looking Killer Croc.

Not to mention the facial tattoos of everyone’s favourite psycho, El Diablo.

Basically, we won’t be forgetting they’re the bad guys in a hurry.

But while the Suicide Squad are stuck between a rock and a hard place, things get even crazier with the introduction of Batman’s nemesis – the one, the only… Joker.

Jared Leto joker

Of course, Jared Leto’s portrayal of the iconic DC villain has been all over the internet… and this isn’t the first time we’ve seen him suit up. But the latest trailer gives us a better look at how Leto is going to play this.

And judging from the sinister laugh, it’s going to be quite a performance.

Batman V Superman Almost Featured The Joker

Already, fans are drawing parallels between Jared Leto’s Joker and the one who stars in Batman: Endgame – an iconic comic book run from Scott Snyder and Greg Capullo. But whether this transfers to the big screen remains to be seen.

Either way, it’s an excellent glimpse of what Suicide Squad has in store.

And let’s face it – it looks pretty awesome.

Will Smith leads the Skwad as Deadshot with Margot Robbie as Harley Quinn. Joel Kinnaman joins as Rick Flag, with Jai Courtney as Capt. Boomerang, Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje as Killer Croc, and Jay Hernandez as El Diablo. Jared Leto appears as The Joker, with Ben Affleck as Batman.

Suicide Squad heads to cinemas on 5 August 2016.
