Avengers: Age of Ultron has finally unveiled The Vision in an awesome, brand-new character poster.
It’s been months upon months of secrecy when it comes to The Vision… and while we knew the iconic Avengers would be heading to Age of Ultron, there’s been plenty of speculation about exactly how the android hero will look.
But finally, we have a closer look in the awesome poster.

Unveiled be the folks at Marvel, this brand-new poster gives us the perfect shot of The Vision… and Paul Bettany has never looked so intimidating.
Although the British actor has long been a part of the Avengers franchise – voicing Tony Stark’s A.I. program J.A.R.V.I.S. – it looks as though the long-suffering computer system is about to get one hell of an upgrade.
During the comic books, The Vision is originally created by Ultron – a rogue A.I. who plans to destroy his creator, Hank Pym (otherwise known as Ant-Man).
But while Ultron’s origins have been changed a bit, it looks as though The Vision will be staying true to his original form.
“Ultron goes rogue, shreds Stark’s other artificial-intelligence program, J.A.R.V.I.S., and gives rise to his own awesome creation,” says Entertainment Weekly, “the synthezoid known as the Vision (played by Paul Bettany, who previously voiced J.A.R.V.I.S.).”
But what does this mean for the Avengers?
Well, depending on how this plays out, it looks as though they could have yet-another villain to deal with… at least, at first. But while the comic book version of The Vision is originally sent to destroy the Avengers, it’s not long before he changes his mind and joins them in the fight against Ultron.
Could this be how it all plays out on the big screen?
For now, we’ll have to wait and see. But either way, The Vision looks incredible.
Avengers: Age of Ultron heads to cinemas on 23 April 2015.
