Tomorrowland Finally Gets A Full Trailer

Tomorrowland gets a full trailer that gives us a sneak peek at the world of tomorrow.

9th March 2015 by Ryan Leston

Disney's Tomorrowland Trailer #2 - In Theaters May 22!

It looks as though we finally get our first proper look at Tomorrowland as Disney releases an awesome full trailer… but can Britt Robertson save the future?

“Every second that ticks by, the future is running out,” says George Clooney’s ageing boy genius as he stares at a rather ominous countdown. Taking a rather dystopian tone from the off, ‘Tomorrowland’ promises a place for the best and brightest of the world…

But it seems something’s not quite right in the world of tomorrow.

Tomorrowland Trailer Gives A Glimpse Of The Future

A bright, young teen named Casey (played by Britt Robertson) is bursting with scientific curiosity… and with the word around her getting worse by the day, it’s clear that something big is coming.

But can she be the one to stop it?

After coming into possession of a pin badge which transports her to Tomorrowland – a futuristic city where science and creativity meet – it looks as though she might just save the world… as well as Tomorrowland itself.

Starring George Clooney as the former boy genius Frank Walker, he’s clearly not lived the life he was promised… and as he’s reluctantly convinced to return to Tomorrowland, it looks as though they need him now, more than ever.

Of course, the impressive new trailer gives us a much better look at the futuristic skylines of Tomorrowland… and a better glimpse at some of the technological marvels we can expect in the city of the future.

Tomorrowland: Disney’s Next Big Hit?

We’re given a brief glimpse of Hugh Laurie as David Nix as well as some rather cool, Portal-esque robots duking it out. And that’s just the start of it. With another cool look at how Britt’s pin badge works as well as some impressive visuals of a rocket launch, it looks as though we might be in for a real sci-fi epic.

And with George Clooney leading the charge, I can’t help thinking that Tomorrowland could be another huge hit for Disney.

Tomorrowland heads to cinemas on 22 May 2015.

What do you think of the awesome Tomorrowland trailer? Are you looking forward to the movie? Let us know what you think in the comments below…
