It’s that time of year once more when we brush off our coloured wigs and head out in costume as our favourite fictional characters – that’s right, Cardiff Comic Con was in town over the weekend…and the cosplayers were out in force.
If there’s only one way to brighten up a dreary, rainy weekend in Cardiff, it’s seeing the cosplayers at Comic Con. Leave it to them to put a smile on your face as you come face-to-face with some of your favourite film and comic book characters… and a few others in between.

Although the convention is built around the opportunity to meet some of your favourite actors and comic book artists, the cosplay is always a highlight… and this year was no exception. A quick wander around the convention hall would have you bump into Captain America, Harley Quinn and numerous other colourful characters from franchises I’ve never even heard of…
So here are some of our favourite cosplayers from the weekend.
