Mad Max: Fury Road Teaser Trailer

Mad Max: Fury Road gets an awesome first teaser trailer… and it’s as mad as you might expect.

Starring Tom Hardy as the eponymous Mad Max, it looks as though Fury Road is a no holds barred sci-fi romp through a newly rebooted, post-apocalyptic wasteland. And if this cool new teaser trailer is anything to go by, we can’t wait to find out what happens when Max hits the road.

George Miller returns to the world of Mad Max in this awesome-looking new instalment. And with a raft of new names attached to Fury Road this could be the surprise hit of 2015.

“Haunted by his turbulent past, Mad Max believes the best way to survive is to wander alone,” reads the film’s synopsis. “Nevertheless, he becomes swept up with a group fleeing across the Wasteland in a War Rig driven by an elite Imperator, Furiosa. They are escaping a Citadel tyrannized by the Immortan Joe, from whom something irreplaceable has been taken. Enraged, the Warlord marshals all his gangs and pursues the rebels ruthlessly in the high-octane Road War that follows.”

And if the description isn’t barmy enough, take a look at the high-octane trailer featuring explosions, sandstorms, creepy-looking drivers, explosions and a tonne more explosions. Also, did we mention explosions?

Mad Max looks absolutely crazy in all the right ways.It’s great to see George Miller taking us back to the post-apocalyptic wastelands. And after this brilliant teaser trailer, I can’t wait to see more where that came from.
