There’s a new trailer for Mamma Mia! Here We Go Again.
And the best part? Introducing, Grandma Cher.
It’s the hit rom-com sequel literally every non-single guy is going to get dragged to see – Mamma Mia! Is back with Here We Go Again… and it looks as though we might even get another tone-deaf ballad from everyone’s favourite dad-dancing Bond.
That’s right – Pierce Brosnan really does have no shame.
It’s been ten years since the original Mamma Mia! movie caused untold agony to millions of married and otherwise non-single men across the globe. Now, the unbearable musical is back with a barrage of ABBA hits sung by your favourite actors and actresses.
And no, they probably still can’t sing.
(We’re looking at you, Pierce Brosnan).

Here’s the official synopsis:
“Ten years after Mamma Mia! The Movie grossed more than $600 million around the world, you are invited to return to the magical Greek island of Kalokairi in an all-new original musical based on the songs of ABBA. With the film’s original cast returning and new additions including Lily James (Cinderella, Baby Driver), the musical comedy will open on July 20, 2018.”
Not an awful lot to go on so far, but it’s not exactly a mind-bender of a movie.
And with that in mind you can probably work out what happens already.
Still, it’s a jaunty, silly rom-com with plenty of heart… and it might even be a bit of a laugh with your other half, just as long as you can put up with all that singing.
Mamma Mia! Here We Go Again stars Meryl Streep, Julie Walters, Christine Baranski, Amanda Seyfried, Dominic Cooper, Pierce Brosnan, Stellan Skarsgård, and Colin Firth.
Ol Parker both wrote and directed the movie.
Mamma Mia! Here We Go Again heads to cinemas on 27 July 2018.
