Avengers: Age of Ultron is just around the corner… and Marvel has unveiled another new look at the upcoming film. But can the Avengers prevail?
It looks as though there may be trouble ahead for the Avengers as this new trailer reveals breaks in the ranks of Marvel’s Mightiest Heroes… and as Ultron and his cronies unleash hell it seems that Iron Man, Thor, Captain America and the Hulk are struggling to keep it all together.
“I’m going to tear you apart from the inside,” promises James Spader’s mechanical menace as he taunts the once-great Avengers.
And it looks as though his plan to divide and conquer is already working – especially when you look at the impressive brawl between Iron Man and the Hulk as Tony Stark dons the formidable Hulkbuster armour.
Of course, this impressive scene takes centre-stage once again as the two heavyweights slug it out on the high street. But with Mark Ruffalo’s Hulk getting angrier by the second, will Robert Downey Jr’s Iron Man be able to bring him down?
But where did it all begin?
“This vulnerable world needs something more powerful than any of us,” says a voice that may be Tony Stark. And while it sounds as though he’s come up with the perfect solution, there’s an ominous tone behind it… clearly hinting at Ultron’s creation at his hands.
Of course, the latest trailer is fairly Ultron heavy – giving us a greater look at the threat he represents. Commanding an army of drones at his will, it looks as though the Avengers are up against a foe who can be anywhere at any time…
And with his divide and conquer tactics, it looks as though they’ll each have to face their own demons as they attempt to bring him down.
But he’s not alone. Introducing (once again) the Maximoff siblings – Quicksilver and Scarlet Witch. And this time, we get a good look at Wanda’s ability to hurl red magical energy as it knocks poor Iron man completely off his feet.
But these new glimpses are just the half of it.
Did you notice that eerie shot of a woman disrobing in a dark and spooky cave? I can’t help thinking that with the appearance of Ulysses Klaw, we’ll be heading off to Wakanda. And the mystery woman could well turn out to be one of Black Panther’s guards, or even his badass sister, Shuri.

And what about the mystical-looking temple where Thor gets a shocking surprise? There’s another mystery female in the background, but we also have no idea where he is. At least, for now.
While the new Avengers: Age of Ultron gives us a good look at our heroes, it also raises plenty of questions… and now we can’t wait to see the movie.
