A new Daredevil series is just around the corner… and now Marvel has released some cool new images which show us more of the Man Without Fear.
Ahead of the series appearing online on 10 April, some new images showcase what Matt Murdock is capable of… and as he stalks the shadows in his full, dark Daredevil costume, it’s exactly what the streets of New York need.
And he looks incredibly cool, too.
“Matt Murdock (Charlie Cox) fights for justice in the courtroom with the help of his law partner Foggy Nelson (Elden Henson),” says the official press release. “At night, Murdock watches over the streets of Hell’s Kitchen, New York as the masked vigilante Daredevil to dispense a more physical brand of justice!”
“Wilson Fisk (Vincent D’Onofrio) also has plans for Hell’s Kitchen, but prefers more malicious methods. Check out these new photos from Marvel’s Daredevil along with some behind-the-scenes shots on the making of the series.”
Obviously, Charlie Cox takes the limelight in these awesome images… and they give us a much better look at the black Daredevil costume. Clearly inspired by Frank Miller’s Man Without Fear, it seems like a far more sensible choice than Ben Affleck’s red leather.
And let’s be honest – it looks pretty badass.
But Charlie Cox looks just as comfortable in a suit… and I’m personally looking forward to finding out what he brings to the role of Matt Murdock, as well as his superhero alter ego.
Of course, we’re also given another glimpse of Vincent D’Onofrio as Kingpin… as well as law partner Foggy Nelson. All in all, it’s a great new glimpse at the show, and gives us more images to paw over until Daredevil appears on our screens.
Let’s just hope the show is as good as it looks.
Daredevil heads to Netflix on 10 April 2015.
