Jurassic World has finally given us a glimpse of the Indominus Rex in action… during this rather awesome new trailer.
The latest Jurassic World trailer shows off plenty of new footage, including a Pterodactyl attack and some terrifying new shots of its latest attraction – the Indominus Rex. Can Chris Pratt save the day? It looks as though he has his work cut out for him when it comes to the genetically engineered menace.
It’s no secret that Jurassic World features a new kind of dinosaur… one that’s been genetically engineered to be the biggest, deadliest monster they could possibly imagine.
But while the investor’s in the faltering theme park are pleased with their new creation, it looks as though Chris Pratt fears they don’t know what they’re doing. And wouldn’t you know it, it looks as though he’s right.
“Think it’ll scare the kids?” asks the Jurassic World exec. “It’ll give the parents nightmares.”
Cue dramatic music, shots of the Indominus Rex stalking its prey and a grisly glimpse of one poor visit being dragged into the air by a Pterodactyl. Not quite the park attraction they were hoping for.
Still, Chris Pratt can stop that hulking dino in his tracks… right?
Although early hints of the park’s new dinosaur seemed a little… well, underwhelming, I can’t help thinking that this is going to be one terrifying movie. Especially for the kids. It’s like ‘Jurassic Park’ all over again, but this time upping the stakes – creating a genetically modified beast that combines all the deadliest elements of other dinosaurs.
It’ll certainly give the old T-Rex a run for its money.
But with 20,000 lives in the balance, let’s hope Chris Pratt has a good plan…
Jurassic World heads to cinemas on 12 June 2015.
