It’s official – the trailer for Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them is here.
Setting up the story of Newt Scamander, the new trailer for Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them reveals that Eddie Redmayne’s renegade Magizoologist was actually expelled from Hogwarts… for endangering human life.
And that’s when things get interesting.
And the new trailer finally gives a closer look at Newt Scamander…

Arriving in 1920s New York, the young Newt Scamander finds himself out on his own, despite the protests of a much-younger Professor Dumbledor… clearly he sees some promise in this particular student.
But alas, not even the future Hogwarts headmaster can keep him there.
And so begins Scamander’s incredible adventure…

“Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them opens in 1926 as Newt Scamander has just completed a global excursion to find and document an extraordinary array of magical creatures,” explains the official synopsis. “Arriving in New York for a brief stopover, he might have come and gone without incident…were it not for a No-Maj (American for Muggle) named Jacob, a misplaced magical case, and the escape of some of Newt’s fantastic beasts, which could spell trouble for both the wizarding and No-Maj worlds.”
Newt Scamander is joined by Porpentina (played by Katherine Waterston) and Queenie Goldstein (played by Alison Sudol), as well as ‘no-maj’ Jacob Kowalski (played by Dan Fogler). And they soon find themselves pursued by American wizard Percival Graves (played by Colin Farrell).
Wil New Scamander manage to get his beasts back? Will he ever return to Hogwarts?
For now, we’ll have to wait and see…
Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them heads to cinemas on 18 November 2016.
