The Night Sitter Trailer Is A Neon-Drenched Nightmare

The Night Sitter promises an impressive take on the home invasion thriller… with an interesting story to boot.

The Night Sitter (2018) - Official Trailer

The Night Sitter just got a stylish new trailer.

And it looks incredible.

It’s another home invasion thriller, but this time The Night Sitter promises a lot more than usual. Written and directed by Abiel Bruhn and John Rocco (who have garnered popularity for a series of short films) this debut thriller looks like a stylish, new take on the usual home invasion subgenre.

And with slick visuals and a promising plot, it’s one to keep an eye on.

What’s it all about?

Well, while the new trailer gives us an impressive glimpse of the slick visuals and neon-drenched atmosphere, it looks like a far more pedestrian affair than it actually is… and it doesn’t exactly tell us much about the rather intriguing plot.

Here’s the official synopsis:

“A scheming con artist poses as innocent babysitter “Amber” to steal from Ted Hooper, a wealthy occult enthusiast with a reclusive son named Kevin. Her crew arrives to clean out the house just as Kevin stumbles upon one of his father’s most prized artifacts and unwittingly summons a trio of witches known as The Three Mothers.”

“As the playful, sadistic witches start picking people off, Amber and Kevin form an unlikely bond and try to survive the night together.”

Now that sounds a lot more interesting than it looks.

And coupled with the cool visual style, I can’t help thinking this is going to be quite the original home invasion flick. Let’s just hope Bruhn and Rocco make the most of what The Night Sitter promises.

I mean, just look at it. We can’t wait to see what happens when this new horror debuts in 2018.

The Night Sitter stars Elyse Dufour, Jack Champion, Jermaine Rivers, Amber Neukum, Bailey Campbell, and Manny Sandow.

Abiel Bruhn and John Rocco both wrote and directed the movie.

The Night Sitter opens in cinemas sometime in 2018.
